Alfred Wilson-Cox 1820-1890
Alfred was born in Nottingham in 1820. He married his wife Ellen Elizabeth (Pratt) in 1853 in Radford. He was listed in the 1800s an artist and photographer. He specialized in landscape painting and several of his paintings were exhibited at the many galleries including the Royal Academy of Arts Exhibitions between 1871 and 1885. These included; The Trysting Tree, Honour of Lincoln Green. Woodman’s Bower.
